Northern Virginia (NVA) Raiders Booster Club
Est. 2011
The NVA Raiders Booster Club was established in 2011 by two diehard Raider Fans, President Troy “Raider Myers” Limerick and Vice President Marvin “Ace” Fontenot. The two met at a local Northern Virginia bar in 2004. As their friendship grew, they encountered more Raider fans in Northern Virginia which ultimately led them to form the Club not only to cheer on the Raiders, but also raise community awareness. Needless to say, the rest is history!
The NVA Raiders' community efforts include, but are not limited to:
-
Conducting a bi-annual street clean-up. We adopted a two (2) mile stretch on Minnieville Road between Dale Boulevard & Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, Virginia and have maintained the upkeep of this road since 2️011.
-
Supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation by raising money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October).
-
Donations to the ACTS (Action in Community Through Service) Food Pantry during the month of November to provide Thanksgiving meals for the homeless and victims of domestic violence.
From Oakland to abroad, Raider Nation is one big family that represents loyalty, community and “Commitment to Excellence” both on and off the field. “Raiders With Attitudes” is the slogan in which we live by, and we strive to bring a positive attitude in guiding people on that path to excellence. In the words of the Late, Great AL DAVIS: “Just Win Baby!”
